Nine months

Colin you are 9 months I'd today and you are one busy busy boy! You weigh 21 pounds 12 ounces and are almost 29 inches long!

Your smile lights up a room and you are the sweetest baby! You love to be around people and you are not happy when we leave the room... Even for a second!

 

You love to eat ! You tried puffs a few times and you are so excited after you eat each one! It is the cutest thing! You eat everything and want to eat all the time!

You have mastered the cup this month and don't care which type or style! You just like being in control and you love to throw it on the floor!

You LOVE your sister And every time Kaitlin looks your way you giggle and glow with joy!

You are wearing size 4 diapers and 6-12 month clothes fit perfect...maybe a little snug depending on brand. You are no longer a fan of the exersaucer and just want to crawl and climb all the time! You see everything as a way to pull up and you even can pull up Spider-Man style on cabinets and doors! You are quite the crawler and are super speedy!

You are keeping us busy and we love every second!

The Most Wonderful Time

I love Christmas clothes! I love Christmas pajamas! It makes me so happy! My grandmother sent Kaitlin and Colin the cutest Christmas sweaters and we love them! Here is Kaitlin modeling her sweater!

We feed it everyday when we get the mail! Kaitlin also has really gotten into Christmas cards this year and she can barely contain herself opening all the cards!

A Visit with Santa

I was at the mall one day before Thanksgiving and Santa had already arrived! He was the most beautiful Santa with a fluffy white beard and I was so excited that he was so jolly! My sister wondered that he might. Be the "REAL Santa" since we live so close to the North Pole!!!

I had everyone ready to go when Kory got home and was really talking up the whole talking to Santa to Kaitlin! She has never been a fan and has refused the past two years to have her picture made with him! I was hesitant that she would even talk to him much less have her picture taken with the sweet man!

Clearly I underestimated Kaitlin

Kaitlin was so great and smiled.... Never even looked scared!

Colin was terrified and screamed and cried immediately after they took one picture! He cried real tears and did not stop crying until I took him out of Santa's line of vision! Colin wants no part of Santa! Poor guy!

And clearly this is NOT the Santa I saw!

 

This was Kaitlin and her 1st and only other Santa visit!

Wild Christmas lights

We went to the zoo last night and saw their amazing Christmas lights! It was a really mild day and it was 50 degrees when we got to the zoo! It wasn't too cold walking around and everyone was fairly warm all night!

They had a light show choreographed to music and it was really a magical night!

They had lights everywhere and it was really beautiful!

There were sooo many people there apparently everyone in Ohio had the same idea of coming to the zoo when it was warm outside! We sat in traffic for an hour and parked in the very back in the grass! We have never seen it so crazy and crowded! We had a great time, Kaitlin got to see some of favorite animals ( the snakes, and reindeer) and we started a new Christmas tradition! Hopefully the weather will be just as warm next year!
