Seating Available

So we’ve had a bit of seating issue in our play room since day 1.  We’ve got a couch and a computer chair in there but the positioning just hasn’t been great for game days.  Gigi & G’Daddy solved that issue.  They brought Kaitlin her very own tailgating chair!

Then, to my surprise, Kory brought home a UT bean bag he randomly found at the Associate Store.  He thought he was going to be the one who used it … HA!

  

She’d sit in her tailgating chair until Kory would take a seat on the bean bag.  Then she’s promptly get up and attempt to push him off.  Kory gave up, and eventually, Kaitlin just took over. 

      

Guess we know who rules on game day at the Shinlever house!

Tot Rod

Gigi & G’Daddy made the long trip to Northwest Arkansas last week to play with Kaitlin! 

While we were last in Knoxville, they went to Toys R Us several days, and Kaitlin picked out her favorite toy.  When they arrived in Arkansas, much to Kaitlin’s surprise, they brought her a Toy Story 3 Tot Rod!  Kaitlin had so much fun riding around all week!

 

Let’s just hope she’s a better driver than her Mama!

Also, I’ve been DYING to get a cake from Rick’s Bakery in Fayetteville since we moved here.  Kory has taken Kaitlin & I there a couple times, but I’ve never gotten to order anything.  So FINALLY, Gigi & I went during Kaitlin’s nap and brought back THIS …

TOTALLY worth the wait.  It was glorious.  Here’s Kory & I celebrating Rick’s … err … my birthday weekend.

Purple Polka Dots

Getting Kaitlin to stand still is not an easy task but I wanted to grab a quick picture of her new outfit before running out the door. I said “pose for the camera” and this is what she did!! I was in shock!!! She looks so old in these pictures I barely recognize her.

She loved her shoes and kept showing them off. The girl has got great taste! I love the ruffle leggings.

Birthday Weekend

My Birthday was last Sunday so Kory declared last weekend - my birthday weekend! He surprised me with roses and a cookie cake on Friday! Love the Orange and White icing.

Saturday morning we headed out bright and early to the Station Cafe. We were head to toe in orange ready for our game against UAB at 11:30! We were almost refused service due to our choice of colors, but we convinced them to let us stay after our clear loyalty to cheer AGAINST Alabama!

 

We walked around the Farmers Market, got some yummy cupcakes, and got back home to almost get beat by UAB! Thankfully I got a win for my birthday.

   

Kaitlin and I got to make a special friend at Build A Bear in Tennessee. This species of bear does not live in Arkansas so we are glad to bring her back to live in our home!
