Christmas Trees and Santa Bags
Kaitlin loves playing with her Christmas Little People Barn! You open the doors and it moo’s!
She has been very “nice” to the tree this year and has been gentle with all the ornaments! We have yet to have her break one… knock on wood!
She will not sit still and look at me so this is as close as we got to a Kaitlin with Christmas tree picture!!
Kaitlin’s stocking is hung by the chimney with care!!
She is hoping she WON”T have to see Santa face to face!! Kaitlin is not his biggest fan!!
Gigi sent us this cute Santa bag that doubles as a seat and a drum!!!

Cars
Kaitlin LOVES the new Cars movie!! She watches the movie and will tell you every car in the movie!! It is the cutest thing!!
Kaitlin may be a girly girl but she also loves playing games with her Daddy
This is a terrible blurry picture but the memory is so sweet!! Kory took Kaitlin to Walmart and Kaitlin was ecstatic to see the Cars 2 real car!! She was so happy and hugged it goodbye!
Not as excited in the Barbie car!!
I love our nativity!! It was given to me as a wedding present and it is so special to me! We have it in our breakfast nook and we look at it all the time!! It is a great way to tell the Christmas story to Kaitlin and for her to visually see all the different people. It is right at her level and she LOVES looking and sometimes touching it!
I have been explaining the wise men coming to visit and in Kaitlin's mind she wanted Lighting McQueen to make a visit as well!!

Cookin’ with Kaitlin
I have the BEST Christmas memories making cookies with my mom so I was thrilled when Kaitlin helped me make some yummy Christmas cookies!!!
Kaitlin was so interested and was such a big helper
The thought of cookies was so exciting but she was a little impatient!
It was a fun night of cooking!
She was so excited and I was too!! It is a sweet sweet memory I will treasure forever!

Kaitlin Grace & The Blustery Day
It’s been really cold lately. Almost every day last week started in the 20’s in the morning. Kaitlin has got to wear a lot of her coats lately.
This black one is my favorite. It’s big, warm, & looks really good on her.
Kaitlin has been watching a lot of Winnie the Pooh lately. Most of these pictures remind of “The Blustery Day”.
It actually warmed up this past Sunday. It was actually above 50 degrees & calm outside so Kaitlin was able to run around outside without a coat.
The polar bear has become her favorite Christmas decoration. As we leave the house, she waves “Bye bye Bear” every time and always runs to see him when she gets home!

Taking a Christmas Break
Christmas can be very stressful & busy if you let it. Kory & I have been dragging Kaitlin everywhere lately so she’s been taking the opportunity to lounge a little when she gets a chance.
Can you blame her though?
She’s starting act a little more like a teenager these days. I can see her doing this when she’s about 13 too!
She even doesn’t mind laying around on the floor.
I guess no surface is too hard when you need a break from all day of running errands & playing!

Christmas Tree Pictures
After we already ordered our Christmas cards, I decided to try to get another posed shot of Kaitlin with Christmas tree this year. We may have ordered too early. I LOVE this picture of Kaitlin.
She was being a little more shy in the picture below but the fact that she would sit still for more than 3 seconds was a miracle!
She is just a little bit bigger than she was last year …
She is just too cute.
Pretty soon, we’ll actually have get presents under the tree. That is Kory’s job though. Merry Christmas to him!
