Face Time
Kaitlin has figured out that when we take a picture of her she can see it instantly!! She wants to see EVERY picture as soon as you take it! And she is very picky about what picture she likes! We had some fun taking some iPhone pictures, and she was pleased with the result.
Kaitlin is very into babies and this is her “awww a baby” face! She is also very concerned over babies crying. She attempts to console EVERY crying baby in a store! A baby is defined by Kaitlin as anyone who is crying. We saw a older boy, maybe 6 or 7 years old, very upset throwing a fit. Kaitlin said “awwwwww, baby crying” and that made the upset boy extra mad! It was very entertaining!
I can’t believe how big she is getting everyday. She will name different birds and animals in the car as we are driving around town, and I am continually amazed at her knowledge. Kaitlin pointed out a owl today and started hooting! Gigi would be so proud!

Muddy Buddies
I had to wake Kaitlin up at 8:30 on Monday morning or else she would’ve slept through school. Once I got her dressed & downstairs for breakfast, she was so excited to start the day!
When I picked her up from school, her shoes were sitting the hallway with her art project. Kaitlin must’ve had a big outdoors adventure this morning …
I was promptly greeted with, “Look Mommy … MUDDY!!” As I found out from her teacher, she was the instigator of playing in the mud today.
She had the best day at school. I guess it goes to show that your day depends on how muddy yours get!

Frosty Monday
It was extra cold this morning and we put on our warm coat before Kaitlin left for school!
Kory reads to Kaitlin every night and puts her to bed! It is such a blessing and such sweet time for them to bond. Last night Kory kissed her goodnight and she kissed and said “Good Night Googly Bear”! Clearly we have watched Monsters INC 4oo times! It is so funny to see Kaitlin joke with us.
I think she may be a meteorologist some day… she loves to report the weather and temperature when we leave the house! It is very cold and windy today and that was Kaitlin’s report.
We had a wonderful weekend! Kory worked so hard this weekend moving our house around to clear out the baby room! This is HUGE progress! Still more work to do but we are on a way to having a functioning room for baby!
Kory did take some time this weekend to play!!
Kaitlin had fun watching the commercials during the Super Bowl! She loved all the puppies and the Coke bears! She even would yell “Go team!” Funny girl!
She eventually got bored and watched her own shows!
