Hide and Seek

Gigi and Didi were in NWA last week and we had a blast. They helped me so much with Kaitlin and around the house! Kory had to travel for work so it was nice to have some company around the house!

We laughed and laughed!

Didi played hours of Candy land!

Gigi and Kaitlin learned letters and played with play dough!

She was the center of attention all week and had the best time!

We had a great week and I am thankful for all their help!

30th Birthday Surprise

My  parents were able to come visit us and helped celebrate my 30th birthday! They watched Kaitlin and Kory took me on a date to Ruth Chris!

Mom had made big plans for us to go to lunch and a movie the next day but my friend Amanda needed me to watch her girls so I had to cancel. Little did I know that my sneaky mom and sister were working with Amanda to surprise me with a party! I pulled up to Amanda’s house and there were 10 cars in the driveway and on the street. I finally knew something was up when I saw the birthday decorations …

I was SO surprised with all my friends and a 30th birthday party playgroup! It was the BEST day and I am still amazed they pulled off such a big surprise without me having the slightest clue!

Amber brought her fun bouncy inflatable and the kids jumped while we all got to visit.

I am so thankful for such an amazing group of friends and a sneaky mom and sister. Thanks to Amanda for hosting and opening your house for the party. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my 30th birthday than with family and friends!

Cowgirl Party

Kaitlin was invited to her friend Lena Kate’s cowgirl party and she had the BEST time!! The party was so cute and they even had pony rides!

She loved every second!

It was way past her nap time and she was so happy! She loved this little pony!

Such a big girl riding all by herself!

The party was adorable and had so many little touches like this cute photo booth!

She may just be a cowgirl after all!

Wild Safari

A week ago, we took Kaitlin to the Wild Safari about 20 miles from our house in the middle of nowhere Arkansas.  We weren’t exactly expecting a lot, but thought Kaitlin would have fun.  Fun was an understatement.  She was very curious …

And immediately found a new BFF!!!

Who knew Kaitlin loved donkeys so much? She got really friendly with the little ones.  She treated them like her stuffed Eeyore at home and got a little friendly – a kiss on the head (right) and a hug never hurt anyone!

She became so friendly with them, that she started bossing them around like everyone else!

One hour later, we actually went on the “Safari”.  I’m pretty sure she would’ve been content to hang out with the pigs, goats, & Eeyores all day long … but away we went.  She was SO happy to get to ride in the front seat!

After seeing Lions, Tigers, Bears (oh my), Camels, Zebras, Rhinos, Yaks, Water Buffalo, and really scary birds that came right up to your window and would not go away!

Scary bird!!

We had such a great day!  Kaitlin has become quite the animal lover.
