On the mend

Kaitlin was feeling better to go to school yesterday!! They even got to play outside! It was an amazing 70 degree day in February!! We will take it! Today was cold and blustery but I guess it is still winter so it was OK!

Kaitlin requested to go in car and eat chicken! Chick fila was our destination and exciting adventure of the day! She is feeling better for sure today! Tonight she wanted an ice cream cone so we already have a date planned for tomorrow!

Kaitlin watched “Bambi” today for the 1st time in almost a year! Last time we attempted to watch it it was a bust! Today she LOVED “BAAM” and named every animal the entire time! It was too cute!

Kaitlin asks about her brother every day! She even calls him on her play phone! We ask when he says he is coming and her response everyday is “it’s a surprise!” Such a funny girl!

We are so thankful that Kaitlin is feeling better and are excited about the weekend!!

Under the weather

Poor Kaitlin has been running a little fever all week! No other symptoms just a fever! She has been kinda grumpy and extra clingy. She wants to sit on me most of the day and gets frustrated that my lap is running out of room!  We have had a pajama week so far! Trying to get my girl back to feeling better!

Today we played “cards”! And by cards I mean make a huge mess and then attempt to clean it up at 9 months pregnant! No picture of the clean up!

Kaitlin’s FAVORITE thing of all is her blanket or “pink blankie” as she is calling it these days! It had to be washed today and she waited by the dryer until it was finished! She rescued it and has not let it out of sight since!

Hoping she will feel better in the next few days! We are snuggled up watching “the puppy movie” Lady and the Tramp and “birdie movie” Rio is up next!

First Haircut

Kaitlin got her 1st haircut on Saturday!! She did an amazing job at sitting still and did not cry at all. It went so much better than expected!! 

She was a little unsure at first.

But she did great! So proud of our big girl!

Not loving the hairdryer

The cute little place that cut her hair had snacks and Toy Story playing! It was so kid friendly and Kaitlin loved it!

We stopped by the mall and Kaitlin requested to ride the mall merry go round! We always ride the “mall dog” with Gigi is Knoxville and Kaitlin always picks the blue dog!It is so funny she picked the same dog to ride! That girl never forgets anything!
