4 month checkup

We went to the splash park and Kaitlin had so much fun! I was not sure how she would do but she had a great time. She did get cold after almost an hour and a half and requested an coat she was soooooo cold! We got warmed up and had a wonderful nap!

Zoo fun
Didi and Rachel went to the zoo with us last week and we had a great time! Kaitlin really wanted to go to the petting zoo so we headed there first. Kaitlin thought it was a sitting zoo!
It was nice going on a weekday because the crowd was very light and Kaitlin did so many things that usually have a long wait on the weekends.
We had a great day and it was even more fun with Rachel and Didi!
It was a hot day but everyone was a trooper and we got to see about half of the zoo. The Columbus Zoo is so big that we have never seen all the animals in one day.
Kaitlin was so excited to see a dragon!
Kaitlin got to pet a sea star at the aquarium and even was brave enough to pet a snake! She is still talking about the snake and says " he was so cute"!
We also got to see river otters that are still a topic of conversation and some beautiful bald eagles!
4th of July
It was so wonderful having Rachel and Didi here for the great power outage of 2012! We also got to celebrate July 4th with them. We had a great day of being together!
We did some shopping at the mall, Kaitlin played at the playground and we did some exploring in Ohio!
It may not have been the most exciting 4th of July but it is one we will never forget! We were on day 4 of the power outage and we were all living in a hotel. Not exactly what they bargained for but they were such great help and support!
