Wild week

It is already COLD in Ohio! We are shocked at the weather in September and are a little worried that it gets colder in the coming months! Yikes! We bundled up everyone on Sunday and went to the park. It was so cold and the shortest park visit in history!

Colin woke up screaming on Monday night and would not sleep poor kid! He is so happy so I knew something was wrong! He just seemed off.... No fever, no other symptoms!

Tuesday at the Dr we discovered he had his 1st ear infection!

Tuesday night no one slept because both kids were up all night! Hoping everyone is feeling better soon!

Wednesday was my 31st birthday that was spent at the Dr with Kaitlin!

We missed the flower delivery on Wednesday but Kory's flowers showed up on Thursday and they are beautiful! Poor Kory had grand plans for my birthday and with no sleep and 2 sick kids he had to keep changing his plans! We got Carabas to go and tiramisu! It was the perfect way to end a crazy day!

We are ready for the weekend and hopefully some more sleep! It has been a wild week!

Tennessee birthday weekend

After the beach we headed to Knoxville for the UT vs Florida game! It was a great weekend and it was so fun to be home with all the excitement of the big game! Rachel surprised me with a cake and we celebrated my early birthday with cookie cake and shopping! It was such a surprise and so so special!
Kory went to the game on Saturday and Didi helped me watch the kids
Rachel and Colin... Don't they look cute in orange!
We had brunch on Sunday before we got on the road! We ate outside and it was a great time of stories from the game!

We can't wait to be back in town soon for another game with a better outcome for the Vols!

Sandcastles and sand

Kaitlin and Kory built this awesome sand castle! She was so proud of her masterpiece!
Loving the sun at the pool
Colin loved the pool!
Kaitlin drew an octopus family in the sand! She is busy on the beach!
Enjoying her private pool
She loved the beach and it was a much needed vacation!

6 Month checkup

Colin had his 6 month checkup and he got a wonderful report!

He is 19 pounds 14 ounces and 27 inches long! 80th percentile in both height and weight! Almost the exact same as Kaitlin at her 6 month checkup!
He was so sweet during his appointment and he Loves our doctor who wants Colin to eat more food! We are transitioning from two to three meals along with his normal bottles! He had a hard time after his shots! Poor thing!

He loved looking at himself in the mirror! Big happy boy!

So thankful for a great checkup!
