A Royal Wedding

Kaitlin did not get up early to watch the wedding but she did want to dress up for the occasion when she saw Princess Katherine on the television!

April Showers

April showers were the theme of the weekend in NWA! It has been raining since Friday and we have gotten around 10 inches of rain. All that rain finally ran out of places to go and this was one of the roads to our neighborhood ! I picked Kaitlin up from school early and got detoured around the flood. When they say “ flash flood” it is serious stuff. The water started flooding out every road home and it became bad very quickly! After attempting 6 different ways home and 2 hours of waiting we finally made it home SAFELY! Kaitlin was so patience and was so pleasant during the entire ordeal! We were so glad to be home after that exciting adventure!

It finally stopped raining last night and the roads dried up enough for us to go to Bible Study! We have started Testimony Tuesday where a woman from our church shares her testimony every week. It is so encouraging and such a blessing to see what God has done in their life and I was so glad the flood did not keep us away!

So with ALL our April Showers I am hoping for LOTS of May Flowers!

Happy Easter

It is still raining in NWA, and it was a soggy Easter morning. It was pouring on the way to church, and it rained all day. That did not dampen our Easter! We sang my FAVORITE Easter song at church, Christ the Lord is Risen Today! We had a wonderful church service with a guest, Pastor Junior Hill. He delivered such an awesome message on salvation this morning.  He passed us in the hall after the service, and it took everything in me not to give him a big hug!  Then we went back to the nursery to get our baby girl and take her home …

We missed celebrating with our family during this special day, but we were adopted by some sweet friends for a wonderful Easter lunch! Kaitlin took a nap at their house while we enjoyed some delicious food.  The weekend really made Northwest Arkansas feel like home!

Happy Birthday Kory!!!! How special to celebrate your 30th birthday on Easter Sunday! You are a wonderful husband and father! I hope you have a wonderful day! Your 30th birthday will be hard to top!

Kory got a special present a few day early! He LOVES his IPAD and so does Kaitlin! Kory is a very good “sharer” and has been playing nicely and letting Kaitlin play with his new toy!

Even though we may be in Razorback country, your favorite color is Big Orange!
